The new TWT high density patch panels are already available in stock
High port density does not lose its actuality. It is important in solutions for both copper and optics, it is tended to be implemented in data centers and in small office cabling systems. That is why now, in our portfolio, patch panels with high density are represented not only by 0.5U high LANMASTER panels but also by new unshielded panels under TWT brand.
High copper port densities can be achieved with configurations that have more than 24 ports per rack unit. One of the most common is the version with 48 ports per unit. This design we use for TWT-branded panels.
The plate with the top row of ports (numbers 1 to 24) is removable to provide access to the IDC connectors of the bottom row of ports (numbers 25 to 48) during installation. Holes are provided for securing the cables coming into the panel with cable ties on the upper and lower port plates. The use of such fasteners provides the required bending radius and reliable fixation of cables during termination and subsequent operation.
