Discontinued, remaining stock available The optical power meter is designed to measure insertion loss in the optical line during construction, commissioning, and maintenance of fiber-optic communication lines. The instrument allows to measure optical fiber insertion loss in the range from 850 nm to 1625 nm. This means that measurements can be made both on multimode fiber (at 2 wavelengths: 850 nm and 1300 nm), and single-mode fiber (wavelengths 1310 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm). The display has an internal LED screen backlight for operation in dark conditions. To save the battery life, the meter switches to "Sleep mode" after 15 minutes of inactivity.
