The optical light source is designed to provide an optical test signal to the fiber under test. It is used together with an optical power meter during construction, commissioning, and maintenance of fiber-optic communication lines.

Operating wavelengths:

1st output: 850 – 1300 nm,

2nd output: 1310 - 1550 nm.

The display has a backlit screen for operation in dark conditions.

To save the battery life, after 15 minutes of inactivity the source switches to "Sleep mode".

Connector type - replaceable (FC, SC and ST adapters included).

Powered by three AA batteries.
