Assembly pad for LANMASTER's field installable optical connector
The pad is designed for terminating LAN-FMC-SC field installable optical connectors. The assembly pad has notches and grooves for proper placement of the connector retainer and fiber optic drop cable. The pad has marks for indicating the correct fiber length before cleaving. Field installable optical connectors allow fast termination of single-mode optical fibers used in FTTH networks. Terminating the connector on the fiber is done without using a fusion splicer and does not require polishing the end of the ferrules. |
