Unshielded RJ-45 connectors are designed for assembling unshielded patch cords. The design of the contact pins allows them to be used for terminating both solid and stranded cables. Contacts are plated with a thin layer of precious metals to improve conductivity. It is recommended to use protective boots TWT-BO-6.0-xx/100 together with the plugs to ensure correct bending radius of the terminated cable.
