LAN-TK45U5E/180-WH keystone module is used to complete socket in patch panels and telecommunication sockets installed in a wall box or in wall trunks.

Keystone modules can be used in some modular patch panels and sockets by LANMASTER and other manufacturers. There is a standard eight-pin RJ-45 socket on the front side of the LAN-TK45U5E/180-WH module, and IDC-type termination block on the back side.


The insulation displacement contact method is used (IDC) to terminate incoming cable. The cable wires are laid out in the grooves on the module cover, then, if necessary, cut off. When you snap the cover and turn the mechanism in the latch, the contacts cut through the conductor insulation. Thus, the incoming cable can be easily terminated without the use of tools. The cover is color coded to match the T568A and T568B wire maps.
