Laser distance meter is a combined device, which includes a portable laser distance meter in the range from 0.03 meters to 70 meters.
The device measures with an accuracy of ±1 mm. Distances can be measured in different units ¬– millimeters, inches, and feet. It uses a Class 2 laser with a maximum power of 1 mW and a wavelength of 635 nm.

area calculation based on measured length and width.
volume calculation based on length, width, and height.
indirect measurements based on Pythagoras' theorem, which allows to calculate one of the sides of a triangle using several methods (applicable for distance measurements when the conventional method is inaccessible).
The distance meter is equipped with a laser pointer for aiming the device at an object of measurement.
A carrying case is included for carrying and storing.
