Application: Used as a distribution cable of small diameter (from 3.5 to 6 mm) for cabling inside buildings. The cable NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) jacket allows for use in aggressive environments (exposure to oil, acid, gasoline, etc.). Design:
The cable contains a bundle of optical fibers in a tight buffer coating of 600 µm which is covered with corrugated steel tape armor and a layer of aramid yarn and a metal braid. The black cable jacket is made of NBR, which provides high flexibility, strength, and resistance to heat aging. The maximum possible count of optical fibers in the cable is 12.
